majority of you probably doesn't know anything about ETS2MP's complicated rank system. There is quite a lot of ranks, and probably most of you doesn't know exactly what person with proper rank does, what he cares about.
This topic is therefore an answer to your questions..
So, ranks which exist in ETS2MP are shown on this graph:
You can notice dependence between ranks.
Let's start with me - Developer.
Developer is a person, who develops the mod, i.e. writes multiplayer code (client/server/others). He deals with server, takes care about whole venture so it keeps working. This rank actually is the most important one, but that doesn't mean something like dictature. Developer himself won't really take care of everything. That's the crew's job. It's not worth to write to developer to appeal from ban, apply to crew or even about anything else which is other member's job. However, it is worth to write to him when you have discovered some weird bug ingame, which causes crashes or strange situations, and it hasn't been noticed by anybody else yet.
Web Developer is responsible for developing sites which belong to multiplayer (home/forums/). Takes care of www servers, is responsible for proper working of every ETS2MP site. He also takes care of database. Web Developers should be contacted when there is something wrong with the site or it simply doesn't work.
Server Administrator is a person in charge of game servers. His job is to keep servers alive 24/7. You should contact him only when servers are offline for a longer period of time.
Project Manager is actually in charge of staff. He is responsible first of all of admins, of their power abuse, of ban appeals. He is also in charge of Community Managers.
You should contact him in case of power abusement of admins, power abusement of other staff members, etc. PM is also responsible for recruitments.
Community Manager manages community. He is in charge of Support Staff and forums Mod Staff. CM is also direct connector between community and whole crew. He is responsible for posts/comments/messages on fanpage, for forums, support, etc. He is the first person to contact in case, in which no supporter, moderator or game-admin can help.
Community Manager is capable to speak proper english. There is no language division. Each CM knows at least english.
Support Leader is in charge of supporters. He takes care of support ( http://ets2mp.com/support/), of supporters recruitment, of helping people in trouble.
Moderation Leader manages forums Mod Staff. Is capable of adherence to rules on forums. Takes care of moderators and moderators recruitment.
Supporter is a person, who replies to tickets, which were written by players on http://ets2mp.com/support.
Moderator is a person who cares about adherence to rules on forums.
Game Admin cares about adherence to rules in game. He answers to ban appeals in the proper part of forums.
Player - you.
It is not worth to write to Developer or Project Manager about everything. If you have a inquiry, try to contact somebody who has the closest connection with you on this graph. It will save our, as well as yours time. This is a huge project, with many people involved, so it's impossible for one to care about everything. That's why there is no Project Leader rank. I'm responsible for this whole thing to work, and for you being able to play without problems. ETS2MP is being created by you, not me.
